Be Budget Savvy While Still Being Fashionable

Women love accessories and it’s easy for us to lose track of our budget once we are on our jewelry shopping spree. While it’s a great feeling to get a piece of rare fashion jewelry or to buy an expensive jewelry as a reward for a hard day’s work, we should never get to a point where we will regret swiping our credit card or spending that hard earned cash in just a blink of an eye.

Budget shopping and high fashion rarely go hand in hand. The thought of wearing anything second hand may be a little scary for some ladies. But if you want to be fashionable while being a financially independent woman, bargain hunting and thrift shopping may be a very good option. By being smart about your money, you can get to manage your finances well and look like a million dollar without breaking a sweat.

Be true to yourself and your budget

When it comes to fashion, there is nothing better than being able to express yourself by the way you dress. However, you must also try your best to dress within your means and stick to your lifestyle as much as possible. Set a budget for your fashion expenses according to your income and stick with it.

Save up for that expensive necklace

Saving money is never easy, but what can we not really do in the name of fashion? Keep a way a portion of your money in a box and label it with a photo of your dream jewelry to keep you inspired. Don't just glance on the beautiful chains at your favorite store's necklace display stand.

Know the best jewelry shopping spots in your area

A true fashionista don’t just settle in department stores or mall kiosks as their source of trendy accessories. Why not try to ask around about other fashion spots in your area and check it out with some of your girl friends. Look for vintage stores or thrift shops that sell affordable and stylish accessories that you can wear with most of your outfits.

 Buy classic pieces

Classic pieces will never go out of style and can be worn with most of the items inside your closet. Invest in some high quality fashion jewelry in different colors then mix and match it to create a fresh new look without having to spend more of your money to buy a new pair.

Store your jewelry properly

Proper safe keeping of your jewelry can make them last longer. Always check for jewelry that needs repair or clasps that needs to be changed. Remove dusts and grimes that may cause tarnish to keep your accessories in good condition. Also don’t forget to use storage solution that can protect your jewelry against any harmful elements.

Looking great do not need to be that expensive. Take these tips in mind and enjoy looking great while keeping your budget.

  3. I totally agree with you about this. I myself rarely shop for trendy (just at the moment) jewelries or accessories, I always choose classic pieces. Besides, it's you who should wear them not them wearing you. And there will come the "style". Nice post! Thanks for messaging on IFB, by the way.
